Often there’s one key area doing most of the work underneath the surface.
It might be decoding.
It might be comprehension.
It might be writing organization.
It might be something else entirely.
I’ll explain what may be happening and why it would create the patterns you’re noticing.
Not labels.
Not guesses.
Just a likely starting point.
Then we’ll decide calmly whether an assessment makes sense.
If a structured assessment would help confirm what we’re seeing and guide next steps, I’ll explain exactly how that works.
If tutoring makes sense, I’ll explain what that would look like.
If something else would be more appropriate, I’ll tell you that too. I'd rather guide you well than rush you forward.
