Brain-based literacy and learning instruction works. But it works best when it starts with the right understanding of what is actually happening. This call is how we build that understanding together.
WHAT HAPPENS ON THIS CALL

Tell me what you are seeing at home and in school. I will ask a few clarifying questions so I understand the full picture, not just the symptoms, but the patterns underneath them.

I reflect back what I am hearing.
Before I suggest anything, I walk through what stands out in what you have shared. Many parents say, "Yes, that is exactly it." That moment matters. It means we are seeing the same thing.

I name one likely skill area to look at more closely.
Often there is one key area doing most of the work underneath the surface. It might be decoding, comprehension, writing organization, vocabulary, or how your child studies and retains information. I will explain what may be happening and why.

We decide together what makes sense next.
If a Learning Snapshot Assessment would help confirm what we are seeing, I will explain exactly how that works. If tutoring makes sense, I will walk you through it. If something else would serve your child better, I will tell you that too.
